Re: Transparent 32-bit AVI...NOT

Thanks for the update! I have Sony vms 11 and had the same requirement as you. Your post was spot on. For me, however, the 32 bit overlay had to be uncompressed AVI for it to work and I had to click and update the properties in the media section (not in the timeline). I had managed to make it work p...

product development status

Its been almost three years since the very successful unveiling of release 5 but its all gone a bit quiet for some time now. Are you still working on further developments and can your customers expect further releases in the near future ?

Thanks for the great product.

dot rotation

The new rotation transformation seems to apply some scaling at the same time as rotating the selected dots. The effect is easiest to see when you try to rotate a round object (a ball for example). The ball rotates OK with no rescaling in the preview window while you are rotating the selected dots wi...

Re: avi layer

Thanks for your response.

I was thinking that the imported avi layer (or image sequence) would be uneditable from within Fantamorph which would still give you leverage for a potential new product. Anyway, I look forward to hearing about the result of your considerations.

Best Regards

avi layer

Hello again, From time to time I have used effects from other packages that are not available in Fantamorph and managed to combine them with a Fantamorph movie by using the image packer feature to interpolate the frames. This was always a bit fiddly but worked reasonably well. It occurs to me that F...

Re: layer control

Thanks for your fast response. Your suggestion to use the shape/feature curve for my first request works well. I think I read in another post that you intend to include a new feature in the next full release that will allow an easy way of linking together layered sequences. This would be a great fea...

layer control

Hi, I've been playing around with the new layers feature and its a great addition. I would like a bit more control over the individual layers though. Would it be possible to have some layers 'auto reverse' in preview and for movie export whilst other layers do not ? Obviously, those layers that do n...

version number on the about screen

Hi, Here's an easy one for you. I needed to check my current Fantamorph version number so I selected the 'About Fantamorph ...' option from the Help menu and up popped your pretty 'about' box. The top right of this box fades to deep blue in a very stylish way. Unfortunately. the version number is al...

Re: FantaMorph 5.0 Beta Version is Now Available

Glad to hear that 5.0 is imminent, the new features sound interesting. Whats with all this Facebook stuff ? I have no desire to sign up to Facebook, in fact I actively don't want to. Why don't you make the link to the Beta version available from your forums like you used to ? I imagine your just try...

Re: FantaMorph 4.1 is Now Available!

I see from this post that Fantamorph 4.2 is now available. Was it not worthy of a separate announcment? Can you itemise the changes from 4.1, or were they just 'bug fixes' ? I also see from your replies to other posts that version 5 is imminent. Please let me know if you need any beta testing. Thank...

Sequence effects

Thanks for the 4.1 upgrade. I've now installed 4.1 deluxe. I appreciate the new features that were included but was disappointed you didn't include the feature to apply effects (background, mask etc.) to each individual sequence in a project. On your website in the 'new features' section you advised...

Re: New versions

Many thanks for the information. Would it be possible to advise by e-mail when a new upgrade is available - it would save me having to check the forums on a regular basis? Maybe you could e-mail those users who have registered with you, I know you have their e-mail addresses, although perhaps the re...

New versions

Thanks for making Fantamorph 4.0.5 available. Would it be possible to provide information about what fixes/features are new in each update - possibly via a link from the downloads page and the product announcement part of the forums ? This would help me and other customers decide whether to download...

warp sequencing

The 'sequence list' functionality works well for morphs but doesn't seem to do what I would expect when trying to create multiple sequences from warps. For example having created a first sequence as a warp of image1, I would like the second sequence to start with the image that was the last frame of...
